PMAV applications
The PMAV (Property Map of Assessable Vegetation) process remains the best possible way to secure certainty and accuracy of regulatory vegetation mapping for your property. Our natural resource management team has been successfully preparing PMAV applications since the inception of the concept in 2004. We have access to the latest satellite and aerial photograph imagery. We can also use proven methods to obtain the required field data to effect a change to the mapping if necessary.
Vegetation management permit applications
Despite the cessation of broad scale land development in Queensland, there remain many instances where clearing permits are available for management or maintenance of rural property. Our vegetation management specialists can provide assistance to clients with preparing applications addressing each of the relevant criteria to ensure a successful application.
Leasehold land tenure renewal and upgrade applications
Devine Agribusiness has significant experience dealing with government administrative processes at all levels, particularly in land administration matters. Lease upgrade / renewal applications and freeholding applications are routinely prepared and managed on behalf of our clients.
Recent amendments to the Land Act and the implementation of the ‘Delbessie’ leasehold land management assessment framework require landholders to be diligent in their dealings with the state. We have successfully negotiated a number of lease renewals complete with land management agreements, a necessary component under the new framework.
GIS & property mapping services
Regulatory controls demand high levels of accuracy for on-ground works. Advanced technology such as GPS and other spatial aids have become very useful in property infrastructure development and development planning. Devine Agribusiness offers comprehensive spatial information services using GPS and GIS software technology. We can develop the maps you require, generate the data you are seeking and / or identify specific points for you on site.
Projects routinely undertaken include:
- Interpretation of regional ecosystem mapping and on-site identification of remnant areas.
- Generation of coordinates from regulatory mapping and uploading to GPS
- Developing accurate vegetation management maps and calculation of relevant areas.
- Plotting and measuring bore drains for bore drain replacement project applications under the Great Artesian Basin Sustainability Initiative (GABSI).
- Mapping of existing property infrastructure, proposed water infrastructure projects, and natural features and improvements to develop property plans for general use.
